TURBO CHARGED TRAINING

DONE FOR YOU TRANSFORMATION

Board & Train is the perfect solution for or anyone who wants to accelerate their dog's progress. If life makes it difficult to dedicate the time and consistency needed for daily training—or your dog will already be boarding while you're away—let us do the heavy lifting!

At K9 805, Our immersive program provides the consistency, repetition, and structured environment that helps dogs progress quickly and learn new routines and habits. Our board and train program is ideal for...

  • Busy families who are trying to keep up with the demands of family, work, and a packed to do list.

  • Anyone who has difficulty with the early teaching phases due to physical or time limitations.

  • Those who could use a tune up for their dog while they are being boarded.

  • Dogs who are struggling with more challenging behavior issues.

  • Especially beneficial for puppies or adolescent dogs to building a strong foundation, and give them the consistency they need as they mature.

Most importantly, when it's time for your dog to come home, we'll teach you how to maintain and build on everything they've learned. You won't be starting from scratch—you'll be stepping into a strong foundation that you and your dog can continue to build together.

WHAT TO EXPECT

No two dogs learn the same way, which is why every Board & Train program is individually tailored to your dog’s age, temperament, personality, motivation, and previous training experience. We focus on teaching your dog how to learn while creating clear communication that both you and your dog can understand and continue long after the program has ended.

Your dog will learn essential companion skills including sit, down, place, off, loose leash walking, heel, and the foundations of a reliable recall. Rather than simply memorizing behaviors in one location, these skills are practiced daily in a variety of environments to help your dog understand that expectations remain the same no matter where they are.

REAL WORLD APPLICATION

Real-world application is one of the most valuable aspects of our program. Dogs accompany us on daily training outings to a variety of pet-friendly locations where they learn to remain engaged with their handler despite the distractions of everyday life.

Depending on your dog’s individual progress, outings may include parks, downtown areas, pet-friendly stores, beaches, lakes, ponds, hiking trails, outdoor shopping centers, and other public spaces.

These experiences help build confidence while teaching your dog how to navigate the world calmly and appropriately.

ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIALIZATION

Equally important is environmental exposure and structured socialization.

When appropriate for your dog’s temperament, confidence level, and training goals, they'll be introduced to a wide variety of environmental distractions, including animals, people, sounds, surfaces, and environments.

Our objective is never forced interaction or making every dog “social.” Instead, we teach neutrality, confidence, emotional regulation, and appropriate decision-making around the world they live in.

HABITUATING

BEHAVIOR

Unlike many traditional Board & Train programs, training doesn’t stop after a few structured sessions each day.

Because every dog lives in our home throughout their stay, learning opportunities naturally occur from morning until evening.

Meal times, potty breaks, kennel routines, loading into the vehicle, navigating new environments, relaxing in the home, and everyday interactions all become valuable teaching moments that reinforce good decision-making and desirable behaviors.

COMPLETE COMPANION

3 - 5 Weeks

This program lays the foundation for long-term success. Designed for owners who want more than a dog that simply knows commands - they want a confident, well-mannered companion they can enjoy in everyday life. Better manners around the house, easier walks, improved reliability in public, and creating a stronger relationship with your dog.

No two dogs learn the same way, each program is individually tailored to your dog’s age, temperament, personality, motivation, and previous training experience. We focus on teaching your dog how to learn while creating clear communication that both you and your dog can understand and continue long after the program has ended.

COMPLETE COMPANION TRANSFORMATION

6 - 10 Weeks

Some dogs need more than obedience training, they need a customized program that addresses the underlying causes of their behavior while building the skills and confidence needed to thrive in everyday life. Our Complete Companion Transformation is our most comprehensive Board & Train program, designed for dogs requiring intensive, individualized training and long-term support.

The intent is to go far beyond a simple change in behavior - together we will transform the relationship between you and your dog. By combining clear communication, thoughtful training, real-world experience, and continued owner support, we help create confident, reliable companions that can successfully navigate everyday life.

PUPPY START-UP SUCCESS PROGRAM

6 - 10 Weeks

The first year of your puppy’s life lays the foundation for everything that follows. Our one of a kind program is designed to guide your puppy through the two most influential stages of development, early puppyhood and adolescence, helping prevent common behavioral issues before they become lifelong habits.

PHASE ONE - Starting as young as 12 weeks, your puppy will begin learning the essential life skills needed to become a confident, well-mannered companion. Every training plan is customized to your puppy’s age, temperament, and individual pace while emphasizing positive learning experiences and clear communication.

PHASE TWO - Many owners are surprised to discover that adolescence - not puppyhood - is often the most challenging stage of a dog’s development. Young dogs can begin testing boundaries, becoming more distracted, or temporarily “forgetting” previously learned behaviors.

Rather than allowing these setbacks to become permanent habits, your dog returns for an intensive refresher designed to strengthen the foundation established during Phase One while guiding them successfully through this important stage of development.
